I joined the company as a mid-career hire in September 2019.
Although I was anxious about working in an environment that was 180 degrees different from my previous job, I decided to take the plunge and change jobs because I thought I could make use of the qualifications I acquired as a student. I still remember the smell of wood and the warmth I felt when I came to the office for the interview.
There were times when I felt overwhelmed by anxiety immediately after joining the company.
It was really reassuring to have a boss who listened to me and helped me through trial and error to overcome my anxiety.
My job mainly consists of general office work, such as managing orders, preparing sales and purchase slips, and ordering parts and materials for the factory. Among these tasks, interacting with business partners has become an important part of my time, as I have always enjoyed interacting with people. Building up relationships is fun. I am supported by many people in my work.
Creating products that are connected through technology and teamwork.
I don`t have any knowledge or experience in manufacturing, so at first I didn`t know what kind of product I would be making when I saw the drawings.
I am happy to be a member of the Kanto Office, which is built on the skills of each individual and the solid teamwork.
It has been one year since I joined the company, and what I want to do now is to make my work more efficient and provide support to the factory employees who are working on the production. I am still inexperienced in some areas, and I still need the support of many people, but I would like to aim higher as an employee and strive to become a person that people can rely on, even if only a little.
